Chats with Tracie

I have such fond memories of working alongside Tracie. Tracie always greeted me warmly, and took an interest in my day and what I had been up to. When I first met Tracie, she gave the nickname Wesley, she never failed to make me laugh when she called me Wesley

Tracie was definitely a feeder and no-one ever went hungry when Tracie was around. She made it her mission to ensure that everyone was fed and happy. She was such a caring woman through and through.

I spent many shifts with Tracie chatting about life, our pasts, our present, our futures. We would sit on the couch when shifts were quiet and natter away to each other. She was so easy to talk to.
Despite everything she was going through, she faced it with a smile. Even on her bad days, she would push through and muster up the strength to keep going.

Tracie would always tell me how proud she was of her children, and how much she adored them, how talented, strong and beautiful they were. She would also tell me how lucky she was to have her husband, who she also adored and said was the best man in the world. It was very clear to me that Tracie loved her family with all of her heart and was so proud of them all.

Nothing can heal the pain of her passing, but I hope Tracie’s loved ones can rest a bit easier knowing that she truly loved them to her core, and spoke about them all with such high praise at every opportunity.

I miss you Tracie x
